Conservancy guests arriving for the annual Hat Luncheon may be focused on their elegant, elaborate, inventive toppers but as they’re escorted down the stately stone staircase, the shoes they’re wearing also command attention. From glittery sandals to knee high boots, from teeter-y heels to good solid sneakers, footwear fashion statements vary from comfortable to au courante.
